“设计激活世遗”国际文创大赛于2020年6月28日正式启动，2020年10月28日截稿。大赛诚邀国（境）内外从事设计行业领域的全球设计师个人、企业、机构以及院校学生等设计爱好者，依据广东省唯一的世界文化遗产一一开平碉楼与村落、中国首个世界名厨之乡一一开平独特的文旅和美食资源，用当代美学和互联网科技加以设计提升，活化利用，特别在智慧文旅开发、侨乡旅游手信、开平家宴美食三方面激活极富魅力的开平文旅和美食资源。
  “最受欢迎奖”线上展评投票正式启动！
  最受欢迎奖颁予所获网络热度最高的作品。依据大赛评审团挑选出的30份优秀作品，将于2020年10月30日起进行展评，为期一周（即2020年11月6日24点截止投票），经统计后所获票数最高的作品即获最受欢迎奖。
