  第八届上汽集团“上汽设计国际挑战赛”
  总决赛暨颁奖典礼在上汽设计中心举行
  来自全国顶级设计高校的院长与老师们齐聚上汽设计中心
  现场“秀”出18个全球赛区优秀作品的精美模型
  尽显国内外顶尖院校设计精英的创造力和想象力
  诠释出荣威品牌的集智新国潮
  以及MG名爵品牌智领风潮的感性国际范
  On November 6th 2020
  the 8th SAIC Motor"SAIC Design International Design Challenge"finals and awards ceremony was held at the SAIC Design Center.On-site“show”exquisite models of 15 winning works,showing the creativity and imagination of the top design elites home and abroad,interpreting the forward-looking technology and extraordinary taste of th eRoewe brand,as well as the emotional fashion and youthful dynamics of the MGbrand.

  以“发现汽车设计的明日之星”为主题
  赛事针对上汽集乘用车公司荣威ROEWE与MG名爵双品牌发布任务书
  参赛选手可自由选择荣威“集智新国潮”
  以及名爵“感性国际范”相关任务书开展设计创作
  The theme of this event is"Discovering the stars of tomorrow in automobile design".The mission statement was issued for Roewe Roewe and MG brands of SMPV.Participants are free to choose Rongwei's"new trend of wisdom"and mingjue's"perceptual international model"related task books to carry out the design creation.

  自2月大赛任务书正式发布以来，
  本届赛事共收到来自海内外近200所高校的参赛作品600余件。
  经过上汽设专业计评审团与特约跨界专家评审的层层选拔
  为期两个月的入围作品深化实习
  Since the official release of the competition mission statement on February,the competition has received more than 600 entries from nearly 200 universities at home and abroad.After being selected by SAIC's professional design review panel and special cross-border experts,the two-month in-depth internship of the shortlisted works was carried out.

  来自四川美术学院的陈嘉尔同学一等奖！
  二等奖则分别由来自同济大学的程静、
  中国美术学院的王云鹏获得
  三等奖为东华大学的陈晨、山东工艺美术学院的汪洋、
  吉林大学的陈洋与广东工业大学的陈嘉铭共同获得
  欧洲赛区一等奖由英国皇家艺术学院的

  二等奖由英国考文垂大学的Dimitar Stanev获得
  In the end,the grand prize of the global regional finals is coming out!
  First prize was won by Chen Jiaer from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute!The second prizes were won by Cheng Jing from Tongji University and Wang Yunpeng from China Academy of Arts.The third prizes were won by Chen Chen of Donghua University,Wang Yang of Shandong University of Art&Design,Chen Yang of Jilin University and Chen Jiaming of Guangdong University of Technology.The first prize in the European division was won by Sharon Ramalingam of the Royal Academy of art.The second prize was won by Dimitar Stanev of Coventry University,UK.

  The 8th SAIC design international challenge is the first time that eight Chinese art academies gather together,and the design academy compete with each other.Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts from Sichuan Province is the first time to win the SDC!The future competition must be more intense and exciting!

  Due to the epidemic prevention and control factors,the awarding ceremony of the European division of this event could not be held as scheduled.At today's global division awards ceremony,it was announced that the first and second prizes of the European division of the tournament belonged to Sharon Ramalingam from the Royal Academy of Arts and Dimitar Stanev from Coventry University in the UK.

  The tradition of the 2020 SDC competition,"the alma mater of the last champion as the cooperative College of the next launching ceremony".Due to the epidemic prevention and control,the Central Academy of fine arts,a cooperative university,failed to achieve this event.Song Xiewei,President of the school of design,expressed his regret and continued support for the SDC event,hoping to make up for the regret in the future.
